About the Institute

Who we are

Antigenic Research Institute is a private research and technology organization dedicated to advancing open technology, independent research, and community-driven knowledge sharing.

Our work spans decentralized systems, financial technology, cryptographic protocols, and adjacent fields in computing and applied science.

We pursue research driven by curiosity and practical impact — publishing our findings openly, supporting open-source communities with research and field guidance, and convening workshops where practitioners exchange ideas at the frontier of their fields.

We are not a trade group, an accelerator, or a standards body. We are researchers and technologists who believe that the most important work happens when it is shared freely.

Areas of Focus

Research domains

Decentralized Systems

Consensus protocols, distributed ledgers, and peer-to-peer infrastructure for resilient, censorship-resistant networks.

Financial Technology

Digital asset protocols, payment infrastructure, and programmable finance systems that expand economic access.

Applied Cryptography

Privacy-preserving computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and cryptographic primitives for secure systems.

Emerging Technology

Applied research at the intersection of computing and science — from edge infrastructure to novel computation.

How We Work

Operating principles

01

Open Ecosystems

We support open-source ecosystems through research, publications, convenings, and partnerships. Software implementation is carried by aligned operating organizations and community contributors.

02

Independent

Our research is driven by curiosity and practical impact, not commercial interest. We publish what we find without bias or gate-keeping.

03

Community-First

We convene workshops, publish implementation guides, and mentor early-career technologists. Knowledge grows when it is shared.
